This Privacy Policy explains how Gigabite Games ("we," "us," and "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use any of our games, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). A particular game may have additional in-game notices or choices; those notices supplement this policy for that game.
1. Information we may collect
- Account information. If a Service offers an account, this can include your username, email address, name, authentication credentials, account ID, and the information needed to provide cloud saves or online features.
- Gameplay and service information. This can include game progress, inventory, settings, interactions, purchases or entitlements, and support requests.
- Technical and diagnostic information. This can include device type, operating system, app version, session or installation identifiers, performance information, crash reports, and log data.
- Advertising information. A game that displays ads may receive technical data used to serve and measure ads, such as device identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, and ad interactions. Personalized advertising or tracking is used only where the relevant Service presents and receives the required consent.
- Purchase information. Apple, Google, or another platform processes payments. We may receive a transaction confirmation, receipt, product identifier, or entitlement status to deliver and restore purchases; we do not receive payment-card numbers.
2. How we use information
We use information to operate and improve the Services, provide accounts and cloud saves, deliver purchases, respond to support requests, protect against fraud and abuse, diagnose problems, measure performance, and show or measure advertising where applicable.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly collect precise location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, messages, health information, or financial-account information unless a future Service clearly tells you otherwise.
3. When information is shared
We use service providers that help us host, operate, analyze, secure, and distribute the Services. Depending on the Service and the choices you make, these providers may include Microsoft Azure, Google Firebase, Unity LevelPlay/Unity Ads, other ad partners, and the platform through which you obtain the game (such as Google Play or the Apple App Store).
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the Services and their users, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Providers process information under their own policies as well as the agreements that govern their work for us.
4. Your choices and deletion requests
Where a Service provides privacy, analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or tracking controls, you can change those choices in that Service's settings. Turning a control off stops the related future collection where the control applies.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by emailing contact@gigabite.games. Include the game or Service involved and enough account information for us to verify the request. A game may also provide an in-app deletion flow or a game-specific public deletion-request page; use those options when available. We may retain limited records when required for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or platform-compliance purposes.
5. Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit for our production services. No system is perfectly secure.
6. Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your region) unless a specific store listing or in-game notice says otherwise. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where it is prohibited. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will address the request as required by law.
7. International users
Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a portable copy of your information, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our Services or legal obligations change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice when required.
